'Show Desktop' icon vanishes from Quick Launch for new user

When creating a new user, that icon is simply gone when the user logs in the first time.
Am I being daft or do I miss something ?!?

Mishra Member Posts: 2,468 ■■■■□□□□□□I've had this happen to my profile a lot on 2003 and I haven't ever had any idea what caused it. I always copied over another 'show desktop' icon from another system.
I'm suprised google didn't show anything for you. -

dynamik Banned Posts: 12,312 ■■■■■■■■■□Is it in the "all user" quicklaunch? Was it deleted? Does it happen on all computers? I delete mine because I just use the short-cut keys.
