Command to make "terminal monitor" not to interrupt commands?

Morty3Morty3 Member Posts: 139
Long title, but thats the question. I'm not pro enough to google on it, but I know there is one.
We all like seeing what happens when it does, but it gets really annoying when it cuts of your syntax!

Anyone able to remember that command? :)

You mean after the enable secret password right? :)

    phoeneus,

While we're being nitpicky, you mean after you plug in the power cable into both the router and the wall outlet? ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it's a router wouldn't you need to actually flip the power switch after plugging it in?

    Hahah!

    Nope, might already be flipped.

I'd do it before the enable secret command so that I don't have to wonder if that log message in the middle of my command caused me to mess up the password.

Even before all that, you might want to plug in the console cable before the command :)

Aren't you guys concerned about how you're going to power this? May I suggest a French maid on a stationary bicycle?

Like I said the FIRST! I hate the messages scrolling through what I'm trying to type. Then you try to backspace and its all crap from there....

I usually take the router out of the box first. Its hard to plug the cords into otherwise.

Well at least someone reading this might accidentally learn the "term mon" and the "logg synch" commands

    :)

Not sure why the using enable secret command is the first thing anyone would do. You actually don't ever have to use that command - unless you're feeling insecure.

I was going to suggest a hamster on a wheel with a cisco logo dangling in front of him for power, but I do like dynamik's suggestion better.

Yes, but have you seen his french maid? She only looks good after quite a few bourbons.

Yea, but for me, that's only a problem before 11am drunken_smilie.gif

    And sadly, she's technically French-Canadian icon_cry.gif

    Dang, that is sad :)

I once knew a girl from Vancouver
She told me she voted for Hoover
But then when I tried to remove her
She gave me a tour of the Louvre

I think WC Fields wrote that one...
