I'm a man, not a number
But today a number will do: #23276
The wife has been checking email every time she woke up and just called, I logged in and checked and low and behold Mr. IHaventHadALifeBecauseOfYoufor6MonthsButYoureOhSoBeautiful number was sitting there.
I told my wife it's 'our' number and that's true. There's no way I would have done this without her, for her support and most of all (to steal a line from As Good As It Gets) she makes me want to be a better man (er...geek). This has been as hard on her as me, and when I was down she was always there to help me get back up.
Also this site and everyone on it deserves a HUGE thank you. I joined here right before sitting my first cert, the Sec+, just over 3 years ago. A complete Cert. n00b. Back then I never thought I'd even get close to the CCIE but the encouragement from everyone and the inspiration of seeing others achieve it helped motivate me. There are so many folks on here that made me want to someday be where they are...well getting closer at least .
Okay I'll stop short of thanking the Academy, the Directors etc...:). Just a very heartfelt thanks to Johan and everyone else who makes TE such a fantastic place to learn.
Ps. bonus points if you can name the show I took the title from.

We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?

That was the first thing that popped into my head years ago when someone else posted about getting their number and it stuck. We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?

kalebksp Member Posts: 1,033 ■■■■■□□□□□Congrats, that's really awesome! Now the real dilemma of a CCIE, where do you put the CCIE logo and number tattoo? I'm partial to the forehead.
We joined right about the same time, looks like I need to pick up the pace! -
