New toys
Got a couple new toys to play with at school. We are installing and configuring a Mahi Vx7 and Mi7 on a research network. Don't know exactly what we are doing with them yet ?
Possibly setting up a MAN over SONET/SDH. Some talk of setting up OC-48 and OC-192 links

Anyway, since Mahi Networks was bought out this is what these products were renamed or replaced with...and it was the only info I could find in google regarding these new toys.
Metro Regional (6400 OTP) | Products | Xtera Communications = used to be the Vx7
Metro Core (7200 OSP) | Products | Xtera Communications = used to be the Mi7
Okay...I'm done being excited now. I have over a 1000 pages worth of product documentation to read now.
