I am preparing for the 70-297. I have heard that it is a true nightmare. Does anyone have golden insight into this test? Other than failing the 70-294 the first time with a 692 and getting a 900 the second, I have not had huge issues with these tests so far. Any insight would be wonderful.

Quite a simple suggestion here.....take 70-298. AD is my strong point, but not to the exact degree MS want it in the 'MS world'. The 298 is extremely easy to pick out key words that relate to security and providing you have good basic knowledge of authentication methods, it's a far easier exam from what I can see. Plus it goes towards Security too.
Hope that helps. -

This is a good suggestion. If it wasn't required for one of my college courses, I would have taken 298 instead of 297, not because it was easier, but because it counts for a different certification (:Security) whereas the 297 doesn't (unless you have the $30,000 to get Microsoft Certified Master).CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate -

This is my case as well. I have to take this for a college class. I guess I will continue with my Measureup, Skillport, and MS Press book. Hope to take this one in the next couple of weeks tho.MCSE 2K3

Given the fact that your cert lists CIW Associate...is it safe to assume WGU?CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate -
Jdruin Member Posts: 13 ■□□□□□□□□□Yes that is a correct aasumption. And honestly, I have been very pleased with that school, other than the fact that they try to slow down your progress if you go to fast. I am 3 months into this term and completed 6 courses. My mentor wants me to stop for the term. I think I am on a roll. I will argue though that WGU is harder than the traditional large university I started in.MCSE 2K3

That's weird. My mentor has been nothing but great with the encouragement to accelerate. My first term ends on 3/31 and I'm on pace to have 13 classes / 64 units completed. The only thing she says about me moving so fast is to let her know when to add the next class.CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate -
Jdruin Member Posts: 13 ■□□□□□□□□□My second term ends on 3/31. All I should have left in my 3rd term is my Tech writing, Capstone, and Portfolio. I have bounced mine around a lot. Next term you will get a WGU usb stick. Mine came in yesterday as a congrats for so much speed in my first term. 512 mb tho .
After that, I will take off a month then on to my masters.MCSE 2K3

I'm gonna miss out on the WGU USB stick. This is my first and last term. Between my two AAS degrees and certifications, these 13 classes were the only ones I needed to complete my degree.
Maybe I'll pay for another term so I don't miss out.CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate
