suit (tho no tie) and casual Friday and occasionaly other days if I'm doing "dirty" work.
if I say something that can be taken one of two ways and one of them offends, I usually mean the other one :-)

Why bother, as long as you've got a shirt and shoes on you're getting service... ;)

I try to dress more nicely than anyone else around me, including a tie if my boss(es) also wear one. In these times, keeping a very nice personal appearance may be a significant factor in surviving the next round of layoffs.

I'm a contractor for DSH. When we were located at HQ, it was business atire M-R. Business casual on Firdays but no jeans. Now that we have been moved to a field office, it's business casual and no jeans for contractors on Fridays.
And in conclusion your point was.....???

Don't get so upset...it's just ones and zeros.

My department's dress code to be presentable. So that means, polo and jeans are okay but don't dress like you are going to the gym.

Mon-Thur: Khaki pants with a polo-style shirt or long-sleeved button-down shirt with dress pants.
Friday most people wear jeans, but I stick with the khakis.
