New Network + Books Availability?

I noticed that when I signed up to take the test that I had the option to take either the old test or new. I'm just wondering if anyone has taken the new test and if any new Network + books are out yet?

Looks like the first new Network+ book will be out Mar 2, 2009.

I just got back from taking the Network + (2007 version). The test was majority scenario based. I think I had only 1 port question. The rest of the 84 questions was about Netware, Win 2000, 98, and 95 based network problems. I was so ready for port/cable questions too. I passed but it was lame to have so many Netware questions. I felt that they should just rename the cert to Netware +. Maybe, I'm just got unlucky on the questions picked for the test.

It sounds you were unlucky. I don't remember it that way at all. I remember getting slammed with port, OSI, and cabling questions.

Congradulations though, you passed anyway. Great job. Feels good doesn't it.
