That would be great if it were to come true. I don't see it happening. I am surprised that wasn't a story from the Huffington Post.

I fully believe it will happen. Obama has (what I think) perfectly laid out how quite a number of tech jobs will be created. there is already a huge spike in government's need for IT services. In addition, the health care industry going paperless over time will take a huge demand from the IT workforce.

To me, the best indicator that IT jobs are on the boom and will continue to be so is that IT jobs are actually on the rise in this economy.
