in CCNA & CCENT
need help subnet address 192.168.1.0/24 for 100 host and then i need to subnet the remaining address space for 50 host. This is packet tracer for chapter 1 LAN switching and wireless book

You have got to learn the basics before you can proceed.

wbosher Member Posts: 422Subnetting is probably THE most important aspect of CCNA. If you can't do that you will NOT pass the exam...simple as that. The upside is that it's really not that hard. Good luck.

/24 is all 255 IP.
/25 is half that
/26 is half that
/27 is half that

Agreed,. once you figure out how to do it, it is really easy. Until then it is a mystery....I don't claim to be an expert, but I sure would like to become one someday.
