Well just back from the exam and so relieved!
That was the hardest exam I have done ever so am just happy with my self 
One bit of advice I got from here and think it is good to bring up again “Time management”
You will not have the time you would like to have there are some very long questions in it and they could strike at any moment, with me last question 7 min to go and a 5 analytical stage dozy yay it happens so don’t be shocked by it.
Apart from that know your subnetting i took the first 3 min of my exam writing down on the supplied sheet a quick reference table from memory and it was worth the time.

Your points are right on the mark

Time management is key, because the multi-part config sim question(s) can be hard to solve if you've never seen the module before

If you know your stuff, you'll get it right but it can be a bear the first time around

You get time before the exam (should be a timer in one of the corners) to read the Cisco Career Certifications and Confidentiality Agreement and look at the Cisco Certification Exam Tutorial -- you can use that time to jot down your notes on your dry erase sheets.
