CCNA Exam (640-821)

I know these exams are retired but as I was enrolled on the 3.1 curriculum so I beleive have until the end of July to take them.
640-821 INTRO - IT Certification and Career Paths - Cisco Systems
Just realised I may as well take the 2 exam route rather than doing the 640-801 in one hit, but getting mixed ideas on what is actually in them.
On that link there is no mention of ACLs, however in my curriculum companion guide ACLs are in the last chapter of CCNA 2.
Does anyone know for sure where ACLs feature in the two exam route to CCNA 3.1, and if there are any other subjects I need to focus on now and not later as the books may suggest.
If anyone studied that curriculum and knows first hand, I'd appreciate any info.
