Question on CBT Nuggets or Train Signal

Can their DVD's be played in a normal DVD player?

I get the impression that they are compressed video files so you would need to play them in a computer.

I checked the FAQ on their web sites but couldn't find the answer.

Nope, they cannot be played in a regular dvd player. The native video format used by Trainsignal is .avi, however,they also started using .mp4 [for ipod users] and .mp3 files for your convenience. CBT Nuggets uses .wmv format. Also DRM is involved so ya a PC is required.

You can convert the files to DVD by using Nero software or something similar.
