Permissions on Shared Folder

Does Microsoft want you to remove the default "Everyone" group when you configure the "Share permissions" on a shared folder?
If it was up to me, when setting up permissions, I would remove the "Everyone" group and any other groups besides Administrators, SYSTEM, Creator Owners, Users etc. But I want to make sure if this is correct.
Thoughts?
