Passed 620!

in Windows Vista exams
I passed it with a 914. Glad to have one under my belt. I found the Multiple Choice questions pretty straight forward...there was clearly a right answer...had about 15 sims, they had a different look and feel than Self Test...but it all boils down to knowing the OS, especially what's different vs. XP
Thanks to all who gave advice, the good night's sleep is what got me over the edge!!

    Congratulations on the pass, do you have anything else lined up?

    I had 14 sims and two hot spots, using Vista is the key.

    Just started studying for 290.
    I had about the same number of sims..one hotspot. Thought MC questions were pretty straight forward, easily narrowed down to a choice between two of the answers, then just examine the terminology.

    Good luck with the 290, it'll be much harder than 620.

    The 620 was by far the easiest MS exam I have taken, that's not to say it is was pointless. Unless you have worked with Vista you are going to find it hard work. The MC questions were all very easy to read and the answer was clear, either because it stood out a mile or because of the use of terminology. The simplicity of the, usually lengthy worded, questions was a breath a fresh air.

    I've heard the practice sims out there are harder than the actually exam sims, any truth to that?

    Congrats...my company works with xp still and probably won't be moving to vista anytime soon...but we do have some users who have vista at home which is forcing me to learn it so that I can troubleshoot issues when they work from home

    I recently went and got a technet subscription...i've downloaded vista buisness but I haven't had a chance to install it and play around with it much.
