I think 293 is of comparable difficultly. If you do them in order, it won't be as bad because there's a lot of overlap between that and 291.

IMO it was the most difficult of all the MS exams I have taken so far (270,290,291,293,294,298,299). In retrospect I wouldn't say that it was incredibly difficult, but I know 4 people who have taken it and all four, myself included, failed it the first time we attempted it. I sat it again about 2 1/2 weeks later and got a 884 on it, but the first attempt was a rough one. The more you eat, sleep, and live DNS, the better off you will be before taking 291.
