Difference between 70-294 and 70-297?
The Shadow
What is the difference between 70-294 (Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure) and 70-297 (Designing a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure)?

297 is different for several reasons:
297 is the halo exam for the MCSE 2003 so the case studies can include everything from 270 and 290-294.
294 focuses only on Active Directory (with a special emphasis on group policy).
297 is comprised of multiple case studies followed by questions related to the case study rather than individual questions througout. The format alone makes this one a challenge and several people - including myself - have failed because of it.
The available study material is almost useless.

Thanks Claymoore, it makes a lot more sense of now about the difference between 70-294 and 20-297. 70-297 sounds pretty intense, I think I'll do 70-298 to fulfill my Core design requirement.

You do realize a lot of what he said about 297 applies to 298 as well, right?
