Redistribution is non-transitive on local router
I'm currently playing with redistribution, which as you're all aware is good fun.
I dont understand the mean of this phrase "Redistribution is non-transitive on local router".
Whats the non-transitive mumbo jumbo?

if you are doing mutual redistribution on 1 router say rip to ospf the path wont go from rip to ospf back to rip on that 1 router now if you have 2 points of mutual redistribution then it can happen. Most problems happend when you have 2 or more points of mutual redistribution and watch out for eigrp externals.Studying for CCIE and drinking Home Brew -
