ICND2 on Monday

Well, I wasn't going to advertise that I'm taking the ICND2 on Monday, but I figured that, I might as well post and see if anyone has any good last minute tips for me.

I've been doing about 3 hours per day on labs for close to a month. Last night I decided to get more comfortable with Frame Relay and spend all my time last night setting up labs for Frame Relay.

I feel really comfortable with EIGRP , OSPF, NAT, PPP, Ether Channel, VTP and Vlans

I think after last night I feel pretty good about Frame Relay
I also feel pretty good about ACLs

I've read all of the Sybex book, and reread a couple chapters. I've taken practice test from the book and from MCMCSE.com and of course Techexams.net.

I assume you've seen the usual time management (10 minute SIM limit) and read the question, all the answers, and read the question again advice.... so, um, no more than 2 beers and 1 shot before the exam.....

That was all the new advice I could think of. :D

    Good Luck! icon_thumright.gif

Good luck to both of you and I'm right behind you, having just passed the ICND1 today. Which, in doing so, allows me to have 10 shots and 10 beers!

Plus, it's always good to advertise when you're taking a test. This site is one of the main reasons I stayed motivated throughout my studies. I knew people were out there working just as hard as I was to better themselves and that I was sharing a forum with some top notch human beings!

Edit: I just noticed that you have more than 1700 posts on here, so the above paragraph will seem like old hat to you!

Your statement is dead on... I think that I still have a lingering fear of being "jinxed" by announcing my exam ahead of time. I went through a rough patch taking the 70-219 almost 2 years ago.... It took me 4 tries to pass that exam!

It was just a let down to have to come back and have to report 3 times that I failed, there were a good number of people here supporting me and awaiting to hear about my exam once I got back.

Man... I hated that exam! I still feel like the objectives of that exam are my weakest to date....

The difference between this exam and that one, is that I feel confident... I never felt that confident about the 219. Even on the last attempt, I barely made it.

The positive thing about posting my troubles with that exam, was that sprkymrk sent me another book for that exam that I didn't have already. I'm still very grateful to this day for that.
