Help with IOS image.

blackninjablackninja Member Posts: 385
I have just purchased a WIC-1ADSL card and correct amount of memory for my 2610 router.

I am having trouble finding the correct IOS image and where to get it from. I do have a login for cisco but won't let me download an image.

Any info would be greatfully appreciated

Do you just have a guest login? You can't download router IOS images with that.

Dynamik is correct, you need a certain level of access to download the IOS from the cisco site.

Yeah, you will have to go ask a teacher/buddy/work companion or somebdoy that has access to download it for you. The network administrator at my job has access so he downloads me whatever I need. :)

    Search around online bud

This is a no braindump, no IOS share site

When you get your routers/switches up to speed, stop back for config advice

    :)

    Look for c2600-ik9o3s3-mz.123-26.bin

    You need 64D/16F
There is no place like 127.0.0.1
