Hey anyone know what is filled into the address portion of an HDLC or PPP header? Odom is saying the address doesn't matter since there is only 1 other device on the other end of the link. I get that, but just wondering what is actually filled in the address field.
Just as how Ethernet has MAC Addresses in the address portion, and Frame Relay uses DLCIs. Wondering what's in the HDLC and PPP portion.

Does the SAP identify the receivers MAC?
