Good free Windows Radius server?
A co worker of mine asked me to help him find a quality free radius server that runs on Windows. I've never used a radius server on Windows before, never mind freeware, so I thought I would ask you guys

I'm looking for something that someone has used before, not a buggy program that may or may not install a ton of spyware with it. I'll install this in the lab at work and see whats up.CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

If you are planning to run this on something like an XP box then you are stuck with TekRadius it seems, as that was the only thing I could come up with as free on a Windows platform through a Google search as well...

Any reason he can't use IAS? Is this going to be used in a production environment where Windows Server will likely be running anyway? IAS works fine in my environment and so far has done everything I need it to do. -

So not to be a dick, but maybe you should have googled it, because you could have found that Windows includes a RADIUS server. -

+4 (or whatever it is at this point) for IAS. -

I wasn't trying to tell you to google it at all Paul all I was saying was I found it in a google search I took a look at the page it looked usable and I gave you the link. You didn't say it needed to be used at an enterprise level so it looked perfect for that.
