just wonder if there's a certain limit extend period to take IT tech exam after passing essential. for example, if I pass essential today, do i need to take IT tech exam within a week or month?

Answer
No, there is no specified number of days within which you must pass the CompTIA A+ exams. However, you must take the same year objectives and pass in order to become certified.
