DRAM = primary + shared memory?

I'm trying to figure out how much DRAM I have, and I'm really confused whether it is 32MB or 64MB, as shown below from show version. It looks like I have 8mb of flash.

It looks like all of the interesting IOS (IP Plus, 12.3+) require 64/16, which is what I actually thought this router had. Oh well.

My 2nd router will have full memory and can run 12.4 IOS. Is there any real need to upgrade this 2610 as long as one of my two routers has the additional features? This is for ccna.

12.4 isn't officially supported on a 2600 because of the lack of RAM. You can wedge it in but it isn't particularly reliable and also you need to use T FTP (is that word filter ever getting removed?) each time. People have passed the CCNA with 2500 routers anyway.

You should have both routers able to run IP Plus ideally.

My other router on the way is a 2610xm so I hope to put 12.4 on it. I haven't hit much lab work, but it would seem reasonable that it would nice to have two routers with IP Plus. I'll see what I can dig up for ram.
