Cisco definitely lulls you into a false sense of security with ICND1, then BAM! Welcome to CiscoLand™ with ICND2. I knew how to configure all of the major topics (EIGRP, OSPF, ACL, VTP, VLANs) forwards and backwards, but this exam made me second guess all of that. I finished with less than 3 minutes remaining and was bracing myself for the fail. I was surprised when the score of 903 popped up.

I've spent the last two weeks studying for it using Todd Lammle's Sybex 6th edition CCNA book, Cisco Press Flash Cards and Practice Exam, GNS3/Dynamips, and 3 2600 routers, a 2950 switch, and a 3548 switch.

My performance breakdown was:

80% - Configure, verify and troubleshoot a switch with VLANs and interswitch communication
88% - Implement and IP addressing scheme and IP Services to meet network requirements in a medium....
93% - Configure and trobuleshoot basic operation and routing on Cisco devices
100% - Implement, verify, and troubleshoot NAT and ACLs in a medium-size Enterprise branch office
66% - Implement and verify WAN links
