First option (CCENT, CCNA) -- Study ICND1 material, pass ICND1 exam, get CCENT certification. Then study ICND2 material, pass ICND2 exam, get CCNA.
Second option (CCNA) -- Study ICND1/ICND2 material, pass CCNA exam, get CCNA certification.
Both routes cost the same and the two exam path allows you to learn roughly half of the full CCNA material for each exam, rather than all of it in one chunk.
