Passed with an 851 out of 1000. Not the score I was hoping for but considering the questions I saw I'm just happy to have passed. I got a bunch of frame relay questions along with some other obscure ones I wasn't expecting/didn't review much. All in all I'm glad to have passed. Thanks to everyone on here, you've all been very helpful. Now out to celebrate on St. Patty's Day!!

yanks4everontop Member Posts: 106Thanks everyone, I plan on getting right into ICND2 with my home lab and CiscoKits Lab Book.
As for my study materials for ICND1. I mostly used TrainSignal and CBTNuggtes videos. Other than that I just practiced on my home lab. Studied for about a month and a half. I know I'll need to study harder for ICND2 though. -

my advice regarding the CiscoKits lab book, is to read a study guide first (Sybex, Cisco press, which ever). There are the occasional errors in the Lab book, but you should be able to pick them out and fix them on your own, if you know what you're doing. BTW, I'm not suggesting that it is a bad lab book, I actually found it to be very helpful. -

It's covered on ICND1 conceptually. If you're using Wendell Odom's book, I'm pretty sure it's the first WAN chapter. -
Neeko Member Posts: 170Frame Relay is definitely touched upon in ICND1 curriculum, but as said above just conceptually. No configuration or anything is required, just the foundations of what it is.
If he just used Train Signal and CBT Nuggets it was probably only mentioned briefly if at all, always good to have the Cisco Press books to know exactly what can be expected. -
motherwolf Member Posts: 117Thanks, I'm using the Sybex book so I guess I'll look it over before I decide to take the test.
