Well I recently accepted a new position. I will be moving away from pure networking and getting back into a security role. I will be working for a company that the DoD contracts with to secure their infrastructure.
I will be mostly implementing and monitoring firewalls, IPS, Windows DCs, and router/switches.
There will also be occasional pen testing and auditing.
Very excited for this new role and i will get to earn a clearance as well. Still going to finish up my CCNP, but then maybe go for CISSP since should have another experience with previous jobs.

zen master Member Posts: 222Sounds great. Congratulations. I plan to finish up my MCSA this year, and do CISSP, then hopefully I'll be able to land a decent security job. I've noticed that more and more companies locally have started putting out ads for dedicated network security admins.
