The new Certified Wireless Technology Specialist exam from CWNP

Hi All,

Have decided to do the CWTS exam before the CWNA. A bit of research revealed I was biting off more than I can chew! This exam is set to replace Wireless# and begins from April 6th.

Does anyone know if I can use the CWNA book to study for this new exam? The exam objectives seem to be a little similiar and just a bit cut down... I don't think the Sybex CWTS book is out yet..The CWNA book I have is for the PWO-100 exam.

Any advice would be great.

I would assume that the new Sybex CWNA Study Guide, due out in a week or so, will probably cover most every topic listed in the CWTS Exam Objectives (PDF). Anything that isn't can certainly be looked upon the Internet (start with the Wikipedia).

Remember that the CWTS is an entry-level exam, so an in-depth understanding of the topics shouldn't necessary. However, if you will be going for the CWNA anyway, you might as well learn what you can right now. You could even end up taking both exams in the same day.
