2950G Switch

Hi,

I plane to buy Cisco catalyst 2950G 24 Port Switch with EI. It is good and enough if I plane to go to CCNP certification after I finish my ICND2.

It will work as a secondary switch for the CCNP, but you'll also need to pick up a layer 3 switch, such as a 3550/3560.

You need at least 1 L3 switch for CCNP. The 2950/2960 isn't a L3 switch.

There are no 2950's that can do L3 switching. An 2950 w/EI just gives you a few extra features, as explained here:
