Wahoo!! I passed!!

Passed 70-290 today with an 832. I've been lurking for a while now and thought I should post to let you guys know what a help you were.

Had 44 questions, 5 were simulations. Sims are no big deal and I think I would rather have an entire test of simulations instead of questions. I used CBT Nuggets, MS Press Book and TechNotes on this site.

About the MS Press Book - Don't put too much faith in the practice test software that comes with the book. I took the practice test in certification mode several times, including the day before the test. I was averaging a score of 60%.

Also after studying the MS Press book I have decided that if I am ever offered a job as the server administrator for any company's antarctic research lab I should turn it down.

Congrats! I was wondering the same thing about the MSPress book's practice questions. Seriously, as soon as I think I've mastered a certain topic, that stupid test engine keeps knocking my self esteem down. I've been averaging 50-60% and because of this, I'm a little scared of my test on Monday.

LOL, and yes after all these Microsoft tests I'll probably try to avoid any research companies in Antarctica as well. If I ever get hired as a Systems Admin for a company, I know I'll pull up their AD and start to look for the contoso.com domain by habit...
