Had a bad storm tonight. My off the shelf router got damaged (lost 3 ports on the built in switch). Trying to verify if my cisco routers are ok. I connected the console cable and used hyperterminal. It took 3 minutes and 20 seconds for my router to get to the "press return" prompt. Is this normal? (first time I've ever used a cisco router)

This is normal for 2500 series routers. When I crank up my Cisco rack, I turn everything on and then I go get something to drink. When I come back everything is up.....
