16. Which of the following would configure a Windows XP Professional client to prevent the installation of system files that do not include a digital signature?
a. Setting the Driver Signing options to Block.
b. Setting the Driver Signing options to Ignore.
c. Run SFC.exe with the /SCANBOOT switch.
d. Run SIGVERIF with the /warn option
This site answer A
Explanation:
Driver Signing options can be configured by clicking the Driver Signing button on the Hardware tab of the System properties. Setting the option to Block, prevents installation of unsigned files
Im just wondering, the question is about system files, not about installing of unsigned driver. Any comments

However, it is not a matter of opinion. The other answers (B, C, and D) are just flat out wrong, they do not 'prevent' anything. When you install drivers they often include various system files. These and the drivers can be considered system files, (i.e. a Windows XP driver is generally considered part of the OS (operation system)) not only those that end up in the System or System32 folder.
