YES!!!! Ya boy got him a new gig!!! So long proprietary software support. You got my foot in the door, but now you can kiss my ass!!! moving on to desktop support. I'll be working for this womens fashion company here in NYC. And there's some traveling involved to....like to other states....oh yes, i'm definitely down with that. So hopefully i can visit some places i've never been before. There's room for growth within the company, so thats a definite positive, and like i said, its a womens fashion company, so that means.....MODELS!!!!! yessssssssssssssss! *pumps fist*. Its a pay increase from what i'm making now, not huge, but not what i was expecting either, but ****, its all good, and besides, i'm more about getting the dst experience, so i can move up to servers. all in all...i'm happy as a pig in mud right now!!!

Big Jizay Member Posts: 269Man I really feel your victory. I'll stuck in proprietary support right now and want out bad!! I was going to apply for a DST job in the company, which deals more with Windows and Unix, but just a few days ago, one of the DST's was laid off. So much for that idea! Anyways, I know you feel on top of the world right now! I hope that I'm in your position very soon. Since you brought up "Coming to America", you might as well celebrate with the Hakeem happy song, change the lyrics a bit. "To be freeeeeeeeeee, whoa!!!, what a feeling!!!"The only thing that can stop you is you
