Everyone has nice computers/laptops and home networks..
I'm sorry I ever asked..
you can tell I dont make alot of money..
here's what I have..
Current:
Gateway P7811-FX
(17in LCD with full keyboard and numpad)
2.26ghz Intel Core 2 Duo (P8400) 3MB L2 Cache
4GB, 667MHz DDR3
512MB Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS
64-bit Vista Home Premium
200GB with 500GB External and 200GB External
Logitec Wireless/Infrared Mouse
Labtec 2.1 Speakers
HP Photosmart C4280 All-in-One
Old:
eBay Ninja ATX Case
4GB DDR2
Intel 3.00ghz 1MB L2 HyperThread
Windows XP x64
(changing to Server 2003 for practice)
17inch Acer LCD Monitor
Logitech LX700 Keyboard + Mouse
Network:
Linksys (BEFSR41) Cable/DSL Router (4port switch)
Linksys () Wireless Access Point
Motorola (SB5120) SURFboard Cable Modem
So as you can see.. I don't make alot of money yet.. so I don't have any nice playtoys yet.. still going to setup a lil practice network in the basement..
I still need to pick up an extra laptop to put Linux on, an extra for Unix, an extra for mac. all for practice. -

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor
4GB RAM (3.2 usable.. )
680W PSU
Intel D975XBXLKR Intel Socket 775 ATX Motherboard
(2) 150GB drive (SATA)
(1) 750GB drive (SATA)
(1) 150GB Western Digital Passport external
(2) 500GB Western digital MyBook's
2 DVD burners..
GeForce 8800 GTS (640MB)
(2) 22" Sceptre monitors
Logitech G7 mouse, POS keyboard, DVI --> HDMI cable to our 42" LCD TV
+ a bunch of fans..
Runs windows, but with all the time I spend in ubuntu/BT4, I'd like to migrate to linux eventually. The downside is I do a fair amount of photo work, which is a bit more difficult for me to do on a nix platform.
I'm ready to upgrade to a nice laptop to break away from the desktop. I love my desktop and it runs flawlessly (and has since I built it), but I just want the mobility of a laptop back. -

Mike's FULL list of equipment would be very entertaining indeed. Especially if you've been around and you've seen his partial list of cisco equipment ONLY, and that was like a year ago....God knows what he has added since.

1242 WAP plugs into the 1811 for wireless also, then there's the lab, which is just tons of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. -

Check Craigslist for Ikea desks, that's an Ikea Jerker. I was going to drive to Texas to buy one at the nearest Ikea, but found out they discontinued it. They replaced it with the Frederik which is nowhere near the desk the Jerker was/is.[size=-2]Started WGU - BS IT:NDM on 1/1/13, finished 12/31/14
