Hey All,
Passed my ICND1 exam today with a score of 925. I used 2 cisco 2950's and a 831 soho router for lab equipment. As far a material is concerned I used the cbt nuggets videos, mcgraw ccent book and packet tracer for sims. Thanks to everyone that keeps this site going. It's a great tool! Now on to ICND2.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
If it is broke, did you try to fix it?

I didn't really find it hard. I finished with 40 minutes left on the clock. I will say though that being able to subnet quickly helps. It touched on everything in the ICND1 outline. Just make sure you know the ios commands and what they produce, but I guess that goes without saying !

Do we have to know the mechanics of EIGRP such as how it determines who the feasible successor and successor routes are or how it calculates path cost? Because i suck at that part

    thanx

Do we have to know ...
You need to know what's listed in the Cisco exam blueprints.

Being familiar with the Cisco Candidate Conduct Policy and Cisco Career Certifications and Confidentiality Agreement is also useful.
