Passed ICND1

runsshrunssh Member Posts: 37 ■■□□□□□□□□
I studied off and on the past three weeks and my score reflects it. I got an 860 icon_sad.gif

Dissappointed but I'm also glad that part is over. I'm gonna have to ramp up my studying for the next exam. Thanks for the valueable information and motivation garnered from this site.

Lamle - 4 chapters only
Odom - 5 chapters only

I'm lucky I even passed.

Nap time then off to work.

Hey, you did pass. (And just imagine how well you'll do if you read the entire book next time. icon_lol.gif ) Congrats, and best of luck with the next exam.

Thanks guys! I've already started reading the Odom book and I'm promising to myself to read this twice as well as the Lamle book.

I'm working on fumes right now but I'll celebrate it with some beer and a polish at the Golden State Warrior game.

I didn't expect Frame Relay questions but thankfully, I was able to decipher the answers from looking at running configurations. Brush up on that plus make sure you're able to subnet. Finally, get a good night's sleep in preparation for your exam. Take your time and don't rush. Good luck!

So you advise Todd Lammle's Chp 4 book for this exam and Odom? Whats his first name?

How many questions was the test and what do I need to be sharp on to pass this?

    Btw Congrats!!

No. What I meant was that I only read up to those chapters. I wish I had read the entire book. My scores reflected the amount of study I put in. I suggest reading the entire Lammle book as well as Wendell Odom's ICND1/2 book.

I don't recall number of questions but I did deal with multile sims. It took about an hour to complete. They give you a total of 1 1/2 hours to complete the exam.

    Know how to subnet
    Know how to verify configurations
    Know your OSI model
    Brush up on Frame Relay

    Good Luck!!

Congrats on the pass! You'll still need to cover the areas that weren't covered since they will most likely be topics in greater detail for ICND2. Best of luck.
