Frame Relay Addressing

Hi,
What is the different between (Frame Relay Local Addressing) and (Frame Relay Global Addressing).

    A global DLCI refers to a fixed DLCI assigned to that location, whereas a local DLCI is locally signifigant. Think of it this way, each end may refer to two different DLCI's when referencing the same circuit if the DLCI's are locally signifigant. A global DLCI would be recognized by the rest of the FR network as that same circuit.

    Some idiot decided to call a dlci Global or Local,nonsense and insanity mixed together.
    Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$
