Cd stuck in new Imac
Got a core 2 Imac i'm looking at and a cd seems to be stuck in the slot loading drive, Any ideas on how to get it out? holding eject on the keyboard does nothing. There doesn't seem to be a pinhole I can use either.
Apple wanted to charge the customer £200 to look at the machine and I said I would give it a go thinking it would be easy.
Is this a design flaw? I have seen alot of people having the same problem online
I don't really want to dismantle the whole Imac and I don't really want to spend hours on this only for the problem to reoccur lol
Ive tried a knife, bending a blanking plate, tweezers, but the drive seems to be in locked position ive lost count of the amount of obscenities I have thrown at the thing.
Apple must be onto a winner though with this fault lol
Any ideas guys?

Anyways, My wife has an Imac and I've run into that before. There is a manual eject hole in the slot load drives, it's just inside the slot on the right (on her's at least). Here's a link to a picture: iMac (Slot Loading): How to Manually Eject a CD-ROM Disc -
