Comeback2009 Info Needed

Does anyone know if this promotion is still going on. I am looking at taking the CCENT on the 29th but am getting conflicting information on the net. Is the retake available if this is your first cisco exam if so does anyone know the dates available for this promotion.

I have heard of people using the comeback2009 thing for failed icnd2 exams... the wording is pretty vague on the vue website so maybe worth a go.

In saying that, I hope you never have to try it out

I sent VUE two emails asking to verify if the offer includes first time exam takers, I got the below response TWICE:


Thank you for your email, the promotion is valid until the 20 July 2009.

so you can retake the icnd1/ccent exam as well for free in case you fail the first time?????

good for you.. I have to schedule ccent exam in next 15 days.. (I am hoping to) and this retake scheme will definitely give me some sorta relief in case of a tragedy..

does this promo applies to the old CCNA only 1 exam which is 640-802.
I would like to go for that by the end of June and if I fail to go again on July 4, 5.

Yes, I used it on the 640-802 last Friday
