Passed 70-652 Hyper-V

Sat this exam this morning, took me about 35 mins for 47 questions and i made a 935/1000.

I dare say this exam was "easy".

Alot of what i had read on here from folks who took the Beta of this exam said it was difficult, but i didnt find that to totally be the case.

For preparation i used:

Microsoft Virtualization Ebook
Microsoft Elearning Courses: Hyper-V technology
Microsoft Elearning clinic: SCVMM 2008
Lab with Dell 2950 running 2008 Datacenter with Hyper-V and a VM to run SCVMM.

The best part is all of the preparatory materials and exam were totally free thanks to finding free offers for things from MS and the lab being at work.

Well, I would assume that actually having resources to study from makes the exam a little easier ;)

    Congratulations on the pass icon_thumright.gif

None of what i used was official prep materials. So i was playing a guessing game as to what would be on the exam.

The exam guidelines that MS gives arent always accurate, either. icon_lol.gif

I'd do it if Hyper-V was truly an enterprise class virtualization product.

But it's not at this point, so I'd rather prep for the soon to be released Master VCP or VCDX if I wanted more virtualization certs.

    Anywho, congrats!
    Good luck to all!

Agree - I was at the Hyper-V Microsoft presentation for Partners and whatnot... Was funny when he said that Hyper-V is a better product than ESX ... Pfff .... :)
