I was looking through for some stuff to give to a colleague to help him with his CCNA, I came across this CCNA lab workbook.
A word about it's copyright!
When I received it a couple of months ago, the owner stated it can be freely distributed - on these conditions:
1). The workbook stays as a complete book and is NOT altered.
2). It may be printed out, again as a complete workbook.
As long as you agree to the above here is the link: CCNA - Workbook
It is a fantasic lab book that covers everything inthe CCNA.
Enjoy.

Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModThat's a very thorough workbook, I wish I'd had something like that to guide me when I was studying for the CCNA. I've passed the link on to several colleagues that will be able to get some good use out of it.

Nothing beats a real lab for a total cisco newbie, but until you can afford one use the above.Currently studying:

Tried GNS3 myself. Looks adequate for some sims, but a real CPU hog. Seems to me you'd want to be running a hot new supercharged PC to get good results.Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

You do need a good pc but if you alter the "Idle PC" value it decreases the load on CPUCurrently studying:

billscott92787 Member Posts: 933Thanks, I will check this out when I get home. I can't now because I am at work and these sites are blocked. But, I will definitely take a look. I will use anything that is available. I have been studying for about 4-6 months now and I'm planning on taking my CCNA probably November 21st. I definitely need more practice and I know that I need to get through my ICND2 book. I'm almost completed the first ICND1 book. In addition, I've read two other books, and have been using dynamips and packet tracer to practice setting up RIPv1 and RIPv2, EIGRP, OSPF, as well as troubleshooting some of the configurations. Any further recommendations from anyone, please PM me. I definitely want to be fully prepared. I also have the BOSON test software, I just realized it is in my ICND1 and 2 book, so I will be registering that and trying it out to practice the testing as well.
