Is it possible to find out what the product key is without using a key finder utility like Magic Jellybean
If say your internet was filtered and you had no way of downloading the util

Unless you can backward engineer the tool to see how it calculates it I don't think there is a (known) way ...My own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com

yer thats what I was thinking, am no software engineer so I guess carrying around a pen drive loaded with utils, attached to my car keys is a good idea. -

I vote for Belarc - small, but powerful piece of freeware. Oh, and if you're going to keep your USB stick/pen drive on your key chain, be sure to back it up periodically & either password protect it or don't keep any sensitive info on itCurrently Studying For: Nothing (cert-wise, anyway)
