I have no way of assessing myself on my ICND progress when I take the test in a week?

Check out Transcender, Prep Logic, etc. if you don't mind paying. What resources did you use to study? Most books have questions and possibly even more on an included CD. -

This site has some practice questions. I also found MCMCSE had pretty good practice tests for free. -

It comes with practice exams (made by Boson) for ICND1 and ICND2, along with the flash cards. Wendell Odom's Cisco Press books come with 100+ hard study questions. When you understand those questions (not just memorize the answers) you'll be set.
