What a fun Saturday

Customer asks for server, we give him one. Now customer changed his mind about array sizes. Support guy calls me and asked me for a favour to do that... Fair enough, its a remote job which just takes minutes .. arrays resized .. server boots up with a wrong array order .. windows doesn't boot anymore .. fun bit : remote card doesn't accept any keyboard input ..

Result : I have to drive two hours now to the datacenter just to change the bootorder and then two hours back ..

Sometimes I wish I would just turn off my freekin mobile icon_sad.gif

    Sunday was even better .. another fooked server and the London Marathon was on .. our datacenter was right in the middle of it :S

    Had to take a server on the train as there was no car access .. oh and I paid a fortune for parking at a train station .. God I love my job ..
