Another fun one I came across the other day while looking through IOS features is Hoot-n-Holler. (It's a telephony thing.)

hehe PHP still cracks me up.... I love saying penultimate-hop-pop...

    By the way it's not a word... it's a phrase lol ;p

I think the security phrases are the best for the certain types of attacks...

    Man-in-the-Middle
    Smurf Attack
    Footprinting

Phrase for today 'Aggressive Mode UDLD' - makes the switch sound all tough and stuff.. :p

Nothing better then explaining simultaneous two-way communication and dropping a "full duplex" into the conversation.
RFCs: the other, other, white meat.

My 9 year old (an x-men fan) asked about this one

Sw3550#sh mls qos interface fastEthernet 0/7
    FastEthernet0/7
    trust state: trust cos
    trust mode: trust cos
    COS override: dis
    default COS: 0
DSCP Mutation Map: Default DSCP Mutation Map
    Trust device: cisco-phone

So I guess there are mutants in my 3550?

    :)

The youngest boy (of 5 kids) is the first to show interest in IT so of course I am proud

Wow! Six kids under 11. That must be a challenge. Of course my grandmother had 12 kids, so what do I know?

As for me and my wife, our youngest is 9, oldest is in his 20's

    And yes we are done!!!

    :)

Getting back on topic, I'll go with the command udld port aggressive

My fiber cables are afraid of those ports!

hehehe... One of the younger guys typed in "sh ip into brief" while looking for a blocked port. I asked him if he needed to go home to change or if he was going to go commando the rest of the day. icon_evil.gif

@ cowood2676 & Netwurk: I've got a little bit of catching up to do. I'm expecting baby #4 in June/July. The oldest is turning 10 this year. I think I can muster the cahones (literally and figuratively) for one or maybe two more. icon_lol.gif

    My favorite today - epoch

While it may not be a strictly CCNP term, it's a darn cool word to try to use in a conversation. I think I will be referring to my lunch break as my "lunch epoch" today! :D
