Question about Cisco Academy

I took some Cisco Network Academy courses at my local college a couple of years ago. It seems like I remember them saying you had to set your Network Academy ID up with Pearson when you are scheduling your test or else you will not get certified. Can anyone validate or clear this up for me?

Lots of people take the Cisco Exams without ever having gone through the Cisco Network Academy Program or having an Academy ID -- so if you can't remember it or find it, it shouldn't matter (as long as you're not also trying to use an Academy Voucher).

Prometric always asked when I registered for my exams (and I always told them -- over and over and over) and I remember being asked for my Academy User ID during the pre-exam survey.....

The only Cisco Exam I've taken at Vue was a CCIE Written Exam, and I don't remember getting a survey before the exam or getting asked during registration for my Academy ID.

You can still get certified without it -- so don't lose any sleep (or study time) over it.
