A quick view of that link shows me that although the sim might accept partials, it only accepts "partials according to Cisco". For instance, I could not use the abbreviation for "enable" (en). When I went to global configuration mode, it would not accept "conf t" (which works perfectly fine on a real router or firewall), it wanted "config t". It wouldn't let me abbreviate "ethernet" as "e" or "serial" as "s", nor could I abbreviate "interface" as "int". I could go on....
The best thing for you to do is know the full command, that way you can't lose.
