Passed 70-291 with 778

I know 778 is not a brilliant score, but a pass is a pass. I'm happy enough with it considering it was my first attempt.
Thanks to all the contibutors on this forum for the pointers that helped.
Had 48 questions. Lots of DNS & DHCP, a bit of RRAS and some subnetting. Only had 1 sim and 1 drag 'n' drop, rest were A to D multichoice. Found it easier than the 70-290.
Moving on to the 70-236 - MCTS Exchange 2007:Config. Doing the MOC's 5047 & 5049 next week. Anyone done the 70-236 exam? How does it compare?

Congrats on the pass!

236 isn't really like 291 at all (aside from it being one of the more difficult exams). I'd go on to 293 if I were you since that has a lot of overlap with 291.

Congrats on the pass!!! What study materials did you use? Also, since you stated that you found this exam easier than the 70-290, may I ask what you scored on the 290, and why you believe the 291, which is known as "The Beast" in most circles, was easier?

Tomken, For the 70-290 I used the MS Press book, Windows Server 2003 Inside Out and CBT Nuggets. It took me two attempts on the 290 even though I felt ready for it. Scored 675 first time and 760 second time. For the 70-291 I used the MS Press training kit, CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide: Exam 640-802 for subnetting, DNS on Windows Server 2003 and CBT Nuggets for the 70-291. I didn't feel at all confident until I got in the exam room but then just seemed to relax. Hope the same goes for you. Good luck.
Dynamik, doing the 70-236 next as we are migrating from Exchange 2000 to 2007 in the next few months so it will help if I know something about it. Going to do the 293 after that. Also, the 236 will give me an MCSA (and a pay rise!!).
