ICDN 1 Today

I took the ICDN 1 today, and I have to say that Cisco tests scare the crap out of me. The first simulation came up (1st Question), and I froze. I am not sure why, but I am much more comfortable on my rack at home than the Sims. The cisco tests I found to be more more difficult over all than Microsoft.

Oh, I passed with a 960. Never thought I would have pulled that out. Only had 5 minutes left in the test. I cut it very close.

Study materials. Wendal Odom, Train Signal, Chris Bryant Ebook, CCENT McGraw Hill. I have 5 various 2500 series routers with a 2950 and a 2924 XL in my home lab.

Study time, 2 hours a day for 3 weeks.

It would be nice if they let you warm up with a few "easy" multiple choice questions before they smacked you down icon_lol.gif

And with that score you should take the rest of the week off to celebrate! drunken_smilie.gif (or at least get to drag into work late tomorrow or the day after :D)

That was the same experience I had, the first 10 question/sims took me 30 minutes. I thought I would never make it but ended with about 5 minutes to spare. I was a nervous wreck by the end of it. Congrats!!

Same thing with me... I gave the exam yesterday.. the first question was SIM... and I got scared..

But somehow, since I was pretty quick finishing rest of the questions, I finished my test with 30 minutes still left.. .

I also had a question of frame relay which took me offguard... this wasn't covered in that much details in icnd1 books..

oh yes.. and I got 944..
    Wish List :
    CISSP...

I cant type today. I am so burnt right now from studying. The CCENT was one I just picked up because I was off from school for a month. I am lucky I can type at all. LOL

And yes, we are off to the pub tonight, a date and a drink. icon_cheers.gif
