Hi,
I am going to finish my CCNA soon. I already hava the certs on the right (paltry i know!) and 2 years experience in IT at an operational level (see - servicedesk =P)
I am interested in IT security. My study plan for the next year is either :
doing a MS 70-290 exam to beef up on server tech then studying the security +
Going straight to Security+ from CCNA then going for CCNA:sec or Associate of (ISC)2.
Does anyone have any advice or can point out any wrong assumptions im making - thanks for reading hope you can help!

This way, you can test the waters and possibly find your niche in the security field.
In my opinion, the 70-290 would be the icing on the cake -- not necessary, but great to have.Usus magister est optimus
